Salary
Ealing offer annual salary increments, to the top of your scale, determined through assessment of your work performance and any other business considerations. Salaries are paid into bank or building society accounts on the 26th day of each month (or the day before if the 26th falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday). Salaries are reviewed every year taking into account any decisions of the appropriate national and/or provincial negotiating machinery.

Hours of Work

At this level of appointment you will be required to undertake such reasonable hours of work as are necessary to fully  perform the duties of the post. You can expect to work out of hours according to business needs.

internal and external activities.

You will receive a comprehensive Corporate Induction programme and other training programmes appropriate to the role will be identified and actioned in development plans once initial probationary periods are completed.

The Council conducts an annual staff satisfaction survey and each directorate develops an action plan in response to issues raised.

Relocation and removal expenses

Relocation and removal expenses may be available for this post. The amount will be determined in consultation with the Executive Director.

Probationary Period

All new appointments to the Council are subject to a minimum probationary period of 6 months (regardless of any previous local government service).

Notice Period

The period of notice (on either side) to terminate employment is three months.

Smoking Policy

A no-smoking policy applies throughout the Council.
